Present your work, reflect on your journey
Sharing your work is the final step — and the most important.
Open with the baseline skills audit from Lesson 1. Students rate themselves again on each skill — they'll be amazed at the progress.
Showcase gallery: students display their final project on screen (or on printed/projected version). Class does a gallery walk — each student leaves a post-it (physical or digital) on two other projects with specific praise. Then students complete a structured self-evaluation form: 3 skills you've gained, 1 project you're most proud of and why, 1 thing you'd do differently, and 2 skills you want to develop in Year 9. Final portfolio organisation and submission.
Teacher-led celebration: highlight the most creative project, most improved, most useful, and most visually impressive (not the same student for all). Every student should receive genuine recognition for something.
Reflection: how did you use AI this year? Was it useful? Did it ever let you down? What would you do differently?

No homework — celebrate! Optional: share your favourite project with a family member and teach them one thing you learned this year.

Make this genuinely celebratory. Year 8 students don't often get to showcase their own work. If possible, invite another teacher or display work in a common area.
